However it's extreme to say you wouldn't buy a CD just because the concert setup doesn't match your expectations. CD's don't cost $70.00.
I wasn't there but it sounds as though the show was over an hour which means they had to have played the majority of their CD plus a couple of extra songs. Not half a dozen as your post would seem to imply by stating they only played the hits.
That being the case I'm not understanding where the higher expectations come from. They have one CD. Perhaps you should have waited until the second if you wanted a longer show, since it's impossible for them to perform much longer without new material.
And unless you bought a ticket stating there would be an opener, that critisism is without basis.

Yeah, this type of setting is different then the normal family fair. I was curious what the reception would be before this crowd, and from your review seems it was more positive then negative. An average rock concert with all it brings then. The guys must have enjoyed the different environment.
And Avid, believe it or not I love your post. Mainly because you took the time to see this "C" List group that btw, has played before more then 25,000 before, at the same time Bruce was performing nearby and then seek out their website afterwards. Got under your skin did they?
I'll pass on the review. The band are not critical darlings. You aren't exactly breaking news there.
