I don't know how you did it so soon after surgery! It really was a good day and experience...and I've been pretty useless today.

First off ... good to see/meet so many people from here. I'm horrible with names, but with a few nearby shows bunched together it was easier. (I'm still not gonna name names because I know I will leave someone out and then...not going there !) But yeah, we all found the bar pretty easily

Sometimes we forget how hard these guys work to bring us such joy - we were heading over to the box office to get our VIP info and saw the bus pull in! It must have been hard for them to get motivated to face us in souncheck and M&G. Soundcheck started around 4:30 and was short, but as long as they got their "work" done, who am I to complain? Chris apologized for "just waking up."

Those shirts are great. I was trying to read the back from some posted pics...then Steely wore it again tonight in Allentown and he turned around quickly so we could read it. (no where near enough time) Thankfully Brian had his on when he came out later and I could see and read it up close. Brian told us they got them from some fans who had them made from ONE.org --- great job (and message!)

Day of Fire is the opening band. They've opened a few shows for Daughtry over the past 2 years...

Since grandstand gates are at 5:30, DOF must be starting at 7...so Daughtry should be on earlier than their usual 9 (that's me just GUESSING)

Lately I"ve only seen outdoor "fair" shows, this totally blew those away. You can really tell the difference the new lighting makes...and the sound was spot on! I've said this before, but I love how the songs have evolved since the album...with the rest of the guys in the band making their mark on the songs first crafted by Chris. As a long time Beatles fan, I can't help but be impressed with Helter Skelter.

Got to spend time with some old and new friends...and oh yeah, the bar too! (The scene improved once I switched sides...even Josh Paul got stuck waiting forever for a drink!)
