I am a fan (and you should be too), because... Daughtry fans are the best! And Daughtry just flat out rocks it old school.

Like most of America, I first saw Chris on American Idol. From very early on it was obvious that he was in a class all by himself. As much as it was a shock to see him dismissed early and not win, I was confident that he would rise from the ashes. And he did NOT disappoint. From American Idol to the release of his self titled album, Chris has been the real deal. The sales numbers just bear out what we already knew.

And the Daughtry fans are just the flat out best ever! When someone came up with the idea to send CD's to troops stationed overseas and dediciate the song "Home" to them, I started to realize that here were fans that were , like Chris on AI, in class all by themselves. Through my work for and with "Operation:Home", by creating and maintaining the Myspace page for this awesome project, I have met some of the most incredible people. Regardless of how these people feel about the President, our government, or the war, everyone wants to show our volunteer military personel that they are supported, respected and remembered. And those men and women far from "Home" have told us how much it means to them!

So be a Daughtry fan! Come for GREAT music, stay for the AWESOME frinds you'll find. It can be a life-altering experience. It sure has been for me!
