an amazing day!!
Waking up knowing you are going to start a roadtrip with your girls....and the excitement and anticipation of seeing a show....was enough! Until I remembered that I was fortunate enough to be going to VIP too!
The VIP experience went pretty smoothly at check in....waiting for soundcheck was excruciating.. but you cant have a soundcheck if the band isnt there! As someone else said, the bus pulled in as we were standing at the gate and it wasnt much longer before we were brought in. It was nice to meet some of the other fans standing near us in the meantime!

I thought it was great to see how they work with the instruments, the lighting....the sound....you can see how important it all is to guarantee a great show later on!

Had TRACK A, ROW 3, seat 8. got that online......then we called a bit ago and got CENTER TRACK ,ROW 2...2 seats together!!! Keep trying girls!!

A live show does the heart good!
"You Dont Belong" is so powerful....I loved it! And the guys' energy was great....just wished there were more people on their feet! How can they sit through a Daughtry show??!!
LOVED the duet on Blaze of Glory.....chills for me...the strength of Chris's voice kills me!! In a good way of course!! The crowd went wild when Chris came on.....it was so great to hear. A BJ press guy was behind us & when the Daughtry set was over I heard him say, "Wow, they're really good." It was awesome!
As the girls already said.....you guys rocked the arena ...
but we all wish the set was longer, and that you were the headliner...we're spoiled maybe, but loved every minute of this show.....and seeing Joey in the bunny ears Heather & I did Mission Impossible for made me LMAO!
Thanks for another awesome live performance....I hope you felt the love!!

....the energy and strength the guys showed on stage was incredible. From the minute Chris & Joey walked on stage with DOF we knew we were in for a great ride last night.
The show in Albany at the Palace was at the top of my list until this one.....every song was dead on, plus new ones for me.... Imagine, All these Lives, Paradise City, Steelys Reggae....and of course Back To Me....it melts my heart. Who thought the best night in Albany...could be topped! I cannot describe how happy I am to have had this experience as my last show of the tour. Chris, the passion you have for what you do is indescribable...thank you for sharing it with us! You guys rock!

I had an amazing time with the friends I made here, and will never forget sharing this show with all of you girls! Here's to many, many more in the future...its only going to get better!

So happy that I was able to go to another show...I feel lucky to have had so many opportunties nearby! And of course it is a great feeling to meet up with so many other DO fans that have now become friends.
Each time the set starts I get goosebumps...and when I hear CHris's voice, forget it!!
Once again, I enjoyed every minute, and was truly amazed at how many people could be heard singing along to every song....I brought a friend with me this time and I do believe she has been converted as well! The live performances are such a huge blast, a rush of adrenaline...and although this set was shorter than the last 2 I've seen it is still worth every moment. Of course it leaves you wanting more!
After such a long trip overseas it was awesome to see all of the guys with so much energy & heart...thanks again for making another great night of music!
And thank you JP for being such a sweetheart, down to earth and very funny! Hope you had a blast in Boston....

This band has come so far & I only wish them the very best for a very long, happy, healthy career. We will be there every step of the way!

The evening started out great because I was able to meet so many other DO fans...we had a blast catching up in person! This was my 3rd show, and each time has been a different experience & it gets better & better. They are growing so much, making each song so important, working together. They have so much energy! Chris has an unbelievable presence, his voice is so strong...and his interaction with the crowd makes you feel like an integral part of the show. One of the best moments for me, besides the whole show!, was when the show was ending, the band was still playing but the lyrics had ended, and Chris stood up on the black box in front of the stage, kneeled down a bit and just looked out at everyone, put his hands together and sort of took it all in....it made you feel like he appreciated everyone coming out to support them, made you feel like he was having the time of his life & we are all helping him do it!! Keep it up guys, it was an amazing performance.

After the show we were able to find room at the front of the barricade & had the awesome opportunity of meeting all of the guys. It seemed surreal, as I didnt expect any of it...it just sort of happened! Since they have been so busy the past few days I didnt expect them to have time or energy for any type of interaction...but they did & it was unbelievable. They all signed autographs, JP & Joey, Steely, Brian took some pictures with us...
Chris was very accomodating and gracious, shook hands ,shared a smile & a wink....it was great to tell him in person," Thank you for making this music & touring, we always knew you'd move on to huge things after AI, we're so happy for you!"
(although I think all I could get out was Thank you so much, you're the best : )

And a shout out to CARTER who keeps everyone in line, the guys & the fans! Thanks for being so nice, sharing some funny stories & for the info on the cool T-shirts & jeans...

Thank you Daughtry for taking the time to share your success with us!! Can't wait to see you again at Mixfest 98 in Boston, I feel lucky to have one more oppotunity to share in the ride with you guys! Travel safe overseas and always, and have a blast!!

My husband & I drove from Albany to see the show, it was worth it...we saw Daughtry open for Nickelback in Saratoga NY but seeing them as the headliner was 100x better. Chris was very personable as other people mentioned, even humble you could say --engaged the audience & sang his heart out. We were in the 3rd row off to the left but still really great seats. The covers were awesome, and the songs we all know by heart were amazing.
He even changed some of them up a bit....making them better if possible, definitely exciting to hear.
Just being there to support Chris & the band in person was incredible - I wanted to see a show where they were the main event & they delivered! They definitely had a comfort level there that made you see how much they're enjoying themselves.
My husband almost dove over me to try to catch Joeys drum sticks & Chris's guitar picks...I think he may have been won over a bit more that night!!
We had a blast, met some great people -- Chrissie Obrien : ) It was great dancing & singing along with you! Got lots of pics of the show too, hoping to post some soon.
To those of you who were able to meet the band--congratulations, what a great moment to remember, to be able to say "Thank you" in person.
