i dont know if you're in say of how the tickets are sold, but please hear us out and voice our suggestion to the organizers. A LOT would really appreciate it if tickets were sold instead. as some previously said, at least 70% of daughtry's fan base are students - we can't afford brand new phones. my friend who already has a w580, cant purchase another one (obviously). why not promote the phones instead, like get daughtry to?

making it compulsory to buy isnt going to change anything.
and its DAUGHTRY we're talking about.
the crowd there.. most probably just got the ticket without even being aware of all this.

So is it a warranty card we have to present upon redeeming? And where to redeem besides Berjaya? SE really lacks in advertising. I wouldn't mind paying 300 for a ticket, but 650 for a phone is ridiculous. What if people already have phones better than those 3 models, or they prefer other SE models to those.

Could SE reaaally rethink this over.
I'm sure there are big sponsors out there willing to sponsor this at a stadium or so.

A lot of us already have phones. Especially since i'm a student, forking out that much for a new phone (to keep???) is a lot. I wouldn't mind paying for tickets though, it'll be really worth it if it were to be at a stadium.

Jacylyn, after purchasing, i understand the tickets have to be redeemed from some place? Where and how? Do we produce our receipt? I'm afraid SE hasn't been very clear on this.

Street parties isn't really my thing, the crowd gets too pushy sometimes, and it's all a bit too congested. I actually know of a lot of my friends who would pay and want to go and see daughtry. Could SE sell tickets instead? It'll really draw a bigger crowd.

Perhaps another time, Daughtry. You guys are awesome regardless, your music speaks to my heart. Rock on! (:

i'm a little confused about the walkman phones. first, they have to be original sets right? where do we purchase the phones from, will any shop do? also, will we get tickets upon purchase? hmm.. last question.. from what period of purchase will the tickets be given out?

i wish they made this a public concert, in a way.
nevertheless, IM REALLYYY EXCITED ABOUT DAUGHTRY COMINGGG!

gosh, i just realized.. other bands will be performing, i heard? i'm told that pop shuvit is up first, and daughtry's somewhere in between. so this isn't an all-daughtry night? :x
