Sorry to see you were disappointed in this show. Shocked to see you took the time to log on, create an account and post a negative review. Wow.
In defense of the band, you have no idea what the circumstances were regarding their late entrance and late start, so for you to post strong opinions about assumed facts is just rude. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and is free to post them here. But, when you base your negative review upon things you know nothing about, then I and many fans on this site are going to respond.
I'm not sure I understand your comment about the size of the audience. So you may want to clarify whatever negativity you're trying to get across there.
After the show, we headed for the barricades outside the bus. There were 5 security guards for the venue there, but thankfully all nice this time. They said that some of the guys would be coming out to meet the fans and sign autographs. Woo hoo! We shared pics and stories while we waited. More DO fans showed up that I recognized. Finally, Josh Paul came out by the front of the bus. He was a doll. So giving of himself and his time -- Signing everything, taking pics with everyone and just enjoying the love. Michelle commented that “He is just so damned cute!”, which he heard! It made him smile and blush! He made sure everyone got what they wanted. Then, Brian! Oh, Mr. B. Cradd I haven’t hob knobbed with you in SO long! He also obliged everyone with all he had. His speaking voice and that laugh just melt me! I’d love to hear him sing all those words we know he knows!!
My review, Part 2: The Show!
Show time! Day of Fire hits the stage. Josh Brown does his best to rouse this DAUGHTRY crowd. We are all very receptive and giving of our cheers and applause. Nobody was on their feet, but I still felt the love for them. Josh has clearly endured some heartache because there were more brooding heartfelt songs in this set that the one I’d seen in KC last year. All in all it went well. They came out after and signed their CDs and promo items in the lobby. Josh was very sweet. At one point his arms were overflowing with CDs and cash, so I told him I’d be his groupie and help him out. He flashed me a lovely smile and said, “Thank you SO much!” It was cute. I held a stack of his CDs while he signed things and schmoozed with the crowd. Good guy, good group, good times!
For a change, our trip to this DAUGHTRY concert was uneventful! The drive was gorgeous and only inhibited by some fog as we got closer to Green Bay. About an hour and a half out of the city it seemed that the oncoming traffic was thick. As we got closer to Green Bay it was bumper to bumper over there. I was worried. What was this mass exodus out of the city? Was there an apocalypse in Green Bay? Toxic waste dump? Alien invasion? Everyone was leaving the city and here we were headed right into whatever it was! So, we turned on the radio. AHA! The Green Bay Packers had had a scrimmage game at Arena Stadium which is only a few miles from the Meyer Theater. Whew! I felt SO much better! We pulled into town around 11:15 PM.
LOL! Happy Birthday Brian!
Happy Birthday to you both!
Happy Sexy Birthday
Just "praying for time" with you and keeping the "faith" because "I want your sex"!! So, come on Joey and "heal the pain"! We've got "something to save" I'm just "waiting for that day". So don't leave me "kissing a fool" and lookin' like a "freeek"!
I know you'll understand! Much love! Happy Birthday Mr. Barnes! Have a great one!
