I'm a fan because...
I actually like singer-/songwriter music and (or) singers with great voices. Just like Bruce Springsteen, Rob Thomas (MB20), Nickelback, Meat Loaf, Jonny Lang, the Eagles a.s.o - Chris has 'em both. His music is completely the (Rock-)style that I like, he's written most of his songs on his own and his voice - woah, needless to say a word. In a decade of aging and that way fading (good) musicians it's good to know that there are some talented followers. So music won't get blunt for the next time (hopefully).

There three explicit songs that completely convinced me in being a CD-fan:
