Please be careful when buying tickets from unofficial outlets, especially before the official on sale begins!

Most often when tickets are offered for sale early, they are sold on speculation (the assumption that they will be able to get tickets to resell). Ask to see an image of the tickets and for exact seat locations.

Of course, given the option, please always buy tickets from the official box office or ticket seller such as Ticketmaster in this case.

Took a few days to gather my thoughts and let it finally sink in that I actually got to meet my favorite band!! The concert was absolutely amazing!! It was my 4th one, and every time I see these guys they just keep getting better and better! I had a blast!!! The soundcheck was so awesome! I got some really great pictures that I am really thankful for! Thank you guys so much for giving us the opportunity to go to the soundcheck and meet you! I am waiting anxiously for the pics =] I hope I don't look too silly =P That's about all I have to say for now.. still didn't sink in completely yet that I actuallly got to meet you!! Thanks again guys!! Can't wait to see you guys play again!!! Keep rockin!!

So is there a reason that you don't do Crashed live, or was it just my bad luck that you didn't do it at Allentown? Again, Helter Skelter over Crashed, what were you thinking? Loved the rest of the show! Donna

still no VIP pictures!

what could I say...
I don’t think I’ve stopped smiling since Wednesday. What an incredible experience. VIP was more than worth it. Sound check was incredible….so intimate. JP was so cool to just sit down in front of us & start chatting. I was right in front of him but too blown away to speak. The best part of soundcheck was when my new friend Dana yelled out “I love you Chris”. He said “I love you too” she said “I love you bigger” He said”You love my big what?” It was a little short but the guys were running late & exhausted & just getting to their coffees. The coffee worked miracle cause they were all peppy & excited for the meet & greet. It was like they were just as happy to see me as I was to see them. I wished the guys happy b-days & they wished my one cause mine was the 11th. I was too frazzle to figure out who had b-day in august so I asked & Chris was pointing at Josh & brian “these 2 guys right here”.Then JP said something about me being late. I guess his b-day is either not one of the August bdays or it was the one the earliest in the month. I hugged all of the guys. When I got to the Chris hug his face was was touching mine & I had to control my self from kissing him…seriously don’t know how I managed to control cause my lips were less than an inch from his cheek. After all the hugging I went back to get next to Chris, I put my arm around him, he put his around me & leaned real close. I probably look like an idiot cause I felt like I had just died & gone to heaven. Then Chris said Thanks…I said nothing & walked away stunned. I realized afterwards that I never actually said anything directly to Chris or looked directly at him. I think that would have been more than I can handle. Now if it weren’t for Patty who I met waiting for VIP, I would have had to follow that up with seats in the grandstand. BUT….she had to buy 2 tix for herself in the 2nd row….so she was kind enough to give me one at cost. THANKS PATTY!!!! I’m so jealous that you were smart enough to get online at 3 am & secure tix for York. I am working on it for myself. The concert was great, as usual. We were 2nd row but off to the side & There people in the front row closer to center sitting the whole time. I wanted to smack them….or at least swap seats….but whatever. Thank you POPROCK (sorry I am bad w/ names) for sharing your smokes with me. It was my 4th show & obviously my favorite because of the VIP...but they really do get better every time. Helter Skelter really rocked!!! Not only is the concert itself great…but each time I meet great new people, like Patty & Dana. Christine & Mandi freaked out with me before the meet & greet and Heather & her friend followed me to the backstage area hoping the guys would come out. JP was cool enough to come out & spend lots of time signing & taking pics. I waited for 2 hours but none of the other guys came out. Exhausted & delirious….I drove home & like I said Ive been smiling ever since. I was really tired yesterday & everytime I got a little grouchy my daughter said…look at your phone….which has a pic of Chris from sound check. Ahhh yes…..VIP definitely worth it. I love these guys even more now if that is possible & cant wait for the new CD & another round of shows. I cant wait to see the friends Ive met again & of course our great band! I hope next time around we are still able to do things like VIP & small venues. I’m looking for tix to York & someone who can’t use their VIP with my fingers crossed.

so it took a few days for me to gather and organize and rationalize all of my thoughts from wednesday night, but here goes me insanely long recap:

i'm gonna start with the VIP. i couldn't wait to get my pass. we were stuck waiting for a while but when i got my lanyard, i felt like i had just been knighted or something! it was crazy. anyways, my mom and i wandered the fair for a little, while waiting to meet up again for the soundcheck. i couldn't think about anything! i was so nervous and excited!

the soundcheck was surreal! it was the coolest thing to be there just watching them work and do their thing! you got to be right at the stage (I was a little to the right (or chris's left) of the stage, Brian was right in front of me. it was so cool when JP came out and talked to the fans! they are all so sweet. all the fans were fairly quiet throughout the soundcheck (the security guy told us we couldn't be "disruptive" and none of us wanted to interrupt the guys' work time) so when chris would ask "how you guys doing?" we would erupt! we were all so excited but we didn't want to scream and be "disruptive". but the soundcheck was incredible. chris was drinking his starbucks and informed us that he just woke up a little while ago, the poor guys. (but you could never tell by their performance!)

anyways, then it was time for the meet and greet and pictures! As you can imagine, i was freaking out at this point, but mostly inwardly. i had given some thought to what i would say, but i didn't know how long we had to talk to them, so i didn't prepare too much. i was fairly close to the front of the line, which was nice because i couldn't stand the wait!!! i was finally going to meet them! i rounded the corner of the tent and there they were! i couldn't believe it! my mind was going a thousand miles a minute! i did plan to give them all a hug, which i did. so i waved (probably looking like an idiot haha with this HUGE grin on my face) and started to go down the line of amazing men, giving them all hugs. first was JP. i don't even remember his hug! my mind was going so fast! i'm pretty sure he asked how i was doing but i don't think i answered! then it was brian and i heard him say "how you doing?" and i MIGHT have said "good" which was a lie! i was doing AMAZING! haha then it was chris. he gave me this huge hug! and i couldn't believe it! then as i moved from chris to steeley i made the comment that i had planned on telling them. i said , "the last time i tried to meet you guys i almost got arrested!" (it was in reading and the cops showed up... it sucked) then steeley (as i was about to hug him) said "ME TOO! trying to meet you!" Chris said, "Oh you were going behind the tour bus doing a hundred huh?" and i was like "of course!" it was pretty funny. and last was joey... and i honestly don't even remember hugging him! i'm pretty sure i did, but that's the extent of my memory! then i jumped in the middle and chris put his arm around me. i realized he was smiling so at the last minute i was like "can i have a funny picture?" and God knows what they did! then chris was like "sorry it probably wasn't that funny" and i don't remember if i said anything! i was on such a high! it was incredible. i don't even think i thanked them! i kind of just walked away and i almost forgot to get my signed poster!

afterwards i found my mom waiting in line to get into the venue (she didn't do the VIP, just the concert) and i showed her pics of the soundcheck (the best i could: i was trembling!) and described everything!

then it was showtime! i was in 8th row, but section B so pretty far to the right. but it was still an AMAZING concert! in reading i had second row (once we rushed the stage) so obviously these seats weren't as good but the concert was even better! you would NEVER know the guys were only going on a few hours of sleep! they did phenomenal!

i can't believe the people sitting down in the front! i'm pretty sure that's against some unwritten rule to sit down at a daughtry concert! but my section was having a blast!

i met some great people that i found on here, so that was nice. and all the daughtry fans are so giving and caring! during the soundcheck the woman next to me (sorry i don't know her name) gave one of the guys' picks to another fan! it was the sweetest thing! i couldn't believe it! so i just want to thank you for being so kind, it inspired me.

after the concert, i didn't wait to see if the guys would come out after, i honestly didn't think they would judging by the set up and where the busses were parked. so my mom and i went home.

all in all the night was incredible and i will never forget it! sorry if that was a REALLY long description, but i've been thinking about all of this for two straight days and i wanted to include every detail! i don't want to forget a thing!

thanks to the guys for doing such an amazing job and making everyone feel like family! <3

I'm so greatful to have had this opportunity. Yesterday was Euphoric!!
The soundcheck was so cool, I was front and center right below Chris and I didn't even want to take my eyes off of him to snap a pic ( I only took 4, I would later regret this) Seeing the guys "work" and do their thing was so cool, you felt like a part of their world. JP first came over and sat right down on the stage and started chatting with some fans - what a friendly guy! Chris apologized for being late and a little later when he went to sing something, I guess it wasn't pitch perfect enough for him, he stopped and explained he had just woke up.
The soundcheck was quick but amazing...Next, it was time to form another line for the Meet and Greet.
I was happy to be near the end of this line because I was so anxious I wanted to throw up (sorry to be gross)
I had wondered long and hard about what I would say when I met them, I decided I was just going to offer a simple "hi", and after reading about all the past VIP hugs I was thinking how could I just approach them with extended arms? how would that seem?Decided i wasn't doing that .
Well all that went out the window as I turned the corner of the tent because I became kooky. I did the double handed wave- hi -scream thing (imagine both arms out in front of you, each frantically waving hello, and saying hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii in a high pitched soft scream voice) and you see I didn't even realize I was doing this until I was greeted with Chris doing the same thing right back to me, wide eyed and all, high pitch pretending to be a girl screaming right in front of me. He was making fun of me and it was AWESOME!!!!! and the next 30seconds were a blur, I had brief eye contact with some of them, went around to each of them and did like an assembly line hug, wished Steely and Brian a Happy belated birthday, Chris told me I missed someone, it was JP who wasn't in the tent when I first walked in, got in place next to Chris for the photo - which by the way he really makes you feel welcomed into that picture, like your family who have known each other forever. After the camera flashed i think I said Thank you guys, and without really looking at anyone walked away.
It was so fast and I was so nervous, but it was awesome, I felt weak in my legs, my arms, my stomach. It was a high that I can't compare anything to. Like someone who posted before me said I was fine with the meet and greet, I really didn't need the show. But then I remembered My seats. Yep, front row baby.
Front row, section E, which was the center, to the left a little. The guys were great, as always - the sound was incredible! This was my 6th show and it was byfar the best sound quality. I love when Chris acknowledges the fans by waving or widening his eyes. Joey was absolutely adorable with his short shorts and knee socks. It was great being there. But as always, the show ended and left us all wanting more.
Afterward I got JP to sign my stub, and headed home for the hour and a half drive.
It was well worth it. I hope every show has the option of VIP, I would do it over and over again. Maybe next time I'll remember to take it all in and actually look the guys in the eyes.lol
My soundcheck pics came out awesome, wish I would have taken more, my concert shots are so blurry. Oh well, I always have the memories burned in my head.

Chris gave such a high energy passionate performance last night. Out of the three shows I have seen this month this one was the best for some reason mainly due to the energy of the crowd. I heard the band did not get much rest the night before but apparently it did not effect the performance. It was so worth the drive from Connecticut.

Great seeing all you there last night. It was good times. I am so sad that Daughtry won't be in my area any time soon:( No one believes me that this will be my last show for a while. It is. I will find something to keep me happy while I wait patiently.

I will miss my Daughtry friends.

I loved Josh's Crazy Train.

The new song Long Way grabs at my heart. I love it Chris.

It has taken me all day to gather my thoughts from the concert and VIP experience yesterday. If you have had any reservations about doing the VIP- don't, just do it! I can honestly say that I feel like I spent the day with Daughtry yesterday. Sound check-awesome! What a great opportunity to see the entire band in a casual, candid atmosphere. It was also a great time for photo opps- I have countless photos taken from the base of the stage. The meet and greet was quick, however I must say that the memory will last a lifetime. Turning the corner, I peeked my head into the tent to see 5 fabulous, gracious, down to earth guys welcoming me in. And I mean, welcoming ME in, you feel for a moment like you are the celebrity and they are waiting to meet YOU- they all embraced me with hugs of real feeling and you instantly feel connected to all of them. I was truly not expecting that going in but it hit me like a ton of bricks afterwards- I had to sit down for a few minutes to collect my thoughts!

At this point I was content enough to go home and skip the concert! Ah yes, the concert, I was in the 5th row Sec F just slight left of center on the aisle. My sister and I were psyched about the seats- these were ones I had won on a radio contest. The band came out and rocked out like never before. I agree how in the world could so many people have sat still? We were out of our seats and every chance we could get we would step out into the aisle. We were one of the few that was really rocking out and we had numerous flat out acknowledgements to us from the stage by Chris, JP and Steely. At times, we felt like we were the only ones in a stadium which was packed with over 8,000 people. Even in that crowd we still felt pretty special. This night was winding up to be unbelievable!

As if this was not enough, we ended up seeing JP after the concert, he signed my VIP pass and I got my picture taken with him and he also took one with my sister and later on someone took our picture with him together! He knew who we were right away and acknowledged so. During one of the songs, he had come over to our side of the stage and we were jumping up and down waving and he did a low wave to us off the guitar! We hung out for awhile, talking with JP and some of the other Daughtry fans. He was so great with the kids that were there too which is just another example of what a great group of guys this is.

I hardly slept last night, afraid I would wake up and forget some small yet significant detail- but I didn't. I went to work totally unfocused, spent my lunch break going to the drugstore to print off some of my pictures and every now in then in complete silence I would look at my sister (we work together in the same office) and she would look at me with "the look" because she was thinking the exact same thing that I was! A night to remember!

for posting the reviews!!! I like reading them and it sounds like everyone had a great time....I mean who wouldnt? This is Daughtry we are talking about!!! Anyways cant wait to read more and cant wait to see all of your VIP pics!!! Smiling

Had a awesome time at Allentown. For those of you thinking about purchasing the VIP package. It was definetly worth it. The soundcheck gave Daughtry fans a rare and close up, personal of the band. The meet and greet was a great experience meeting the band members one on one. They are courteous, down to earth and full of energy. Thanks for the experience.

OMG...I just had to post this now that it finally uploaded and processed

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-ZVcTL43-Y

First off ... good to see/meet so many people from here. I'm horrible with names, but with a few nearby shows bunched together it was easier. (I'm still not gonna name names because I know I will leave someone out and then...not going there !) But yeah, we all found the bar pretty easily Smiling

Sometimes we forget how hard these guys work to bring us such joy - we were heading over to the box office to get our VIP info and saw the bus pull in! It must have been hard for them to get motivated to face us in souncheck and M&G. Soundcheck started around 4:30 and was short, but as long as they got their "work" done, who am I to complain? Chris apologized for "just waking up."

I'm glad I did the VIP M&G (it was definitely worth it), but admit I felt strange being there. I've been fortunate (or stalkerish?!) enough to have met them all before. I kept wondering if they'd think "what is she doing here?" I had something I really wanted to say to each of them, but as others have posted...it all flew out of my head once I walked into the tent. Great hugs, small talk. and laughs preceeded the picture. I'm anxiously awaiting the pic...I'm sure I look like an ass and lord only knows what poses the guys were making!

After another trip to the bar (with a Jager shot to calm my nerves!) we went in for Day of Fire to open the concert. I'm so glad I was introduced to these guys through Chris and DAUGHTRY. I love to see them perform and can't wait for their new album. I was able to "sneak" in with my friend to her seats which were much better than mine. We asked the people on either side of us if it was OK - and thankfully they werecool with it. Since everyone was sitting for DOF she did have to sit on my lap for the last three DOF songs - but we were on our feet for Daughtry so it didn't matter.

This fair show was my favorite so far (I also went to Del and Toms River this summer). I'm not good with detailed reviews, but loved the lighting and sound...and everyone around us was really into the show. Some observations...
-The guys seemed to interact more last night. I about died when Steely, Josh Paul and Brian were together on the drum riser.
-Joey's mic wasnt' working during ATL, so he had to move to Josh's mic...and then he threw out one of his pics
-For having little if any sleep, they sure rallied!
-I really miss hearing Standing Still - what happened to it? (Like many of you I miss Crashed too...but hearing new songs in a different order makes me happy too)

So now my take on repeating VIP. Some friends were trying to convince me to do it again in York so I could say the things I didn't ... since I might be more calm. I don't blame others for doing what they think is good for them, but it's not going to be for me. I was able to see both Josh Paul and Brian after the show and had the time (and frame of mind) to say to them what I wanted to but didn't at VIP. Though it wasn't a personal one on one (or 1 on 5) environment, it seemed like it was to me. I don't think that another VIP will make a difference for me...so in the spirit of the conversation I had with Brian, I'm going to take the $138.13 (vip price plus tax) and make another donation to ONE.

show was great ! helter skelter was the highlight ! there was some loud rude guy in 7th row sec e that kept heckling him everytime he talked or sung ! i just cant understand why you would go to a show & try to make a ass out of yourself and try to ruin it for others but im sure chris heard him !
