I FEEL THE NEED TO SAY THANKS TO CHRIS!!!!!!!!
2007 started out as a rocky year for me. Until the announcement of the Jan 22 show at the HOB in Chicago. What the heck I will take a road trip..little did I know it would be the first of many. My resolutions for the year I am sure were like the rest of the worlds...get out of debt...travel....get organised....lose 50 lbs...make new friends. I was in a "slump". I can remember driving home from Chicago that night..thinking what can I do for "me" this year? So I go through the list...well I really wanna get into shape...and see more of this world than small town Indiana. So the next day I joined a gym....tossed the soda (( ohh hard one on the husband )) and put Daughtry on my mp3 player and got to work. WIth each upcoming show I had tix for I gave myself a goal......lets see.....2 in March...May...July...Aug...Sept...Nov..and here I am....112lbs thinner. I wanted to tell Chris face to face...but as the stupid Indy weather is gonna keep me from my last HOO RAH of the year ((greenville,SC)) I figured I would post it on here....maybe he will see it ..maybe not. So thank you Chris....((and I say Chris because it all started with ...well I wont even say it ..you know where we all first saw and fell in love with the voice)). But I never dreamed I would be where I am today. I never would have found the motivation NOT to even mention the friends I have met along the way! Awesome ladies!!!!!!! Just as crazy as I am!! I truely feel 18 again!!!! So funny to see my husbands face when he says "you got tix to where..and how far of a drive is that?" SO THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for an amazing year.....you truely are an inspiration...and my motivation ...to be what I always knew I could be! ALL the songs have special meaning to me...and to see you singing them live..and acknowledge us fans...its the best feeling ever!

I know how hard you worked/work STILL, in fact your on your way to the gym as I type this..GO GIRL!!! When, I'm sitting on my A$$ at home, I'm like get UP and go exercise or something...and I think of you...so I do it!!!!
But seriously, everyone has a "perception" of CHRIS and just for him to come in and read some of these boards really makes you realize how much he appreciates his fans!! AND also makes you kinda want to be careful what you say/write, etc!!!
Because he is HUMAN just like US!!!!

love this story. I just re-read it and ya know i think this kinda did motivate me this year. I read this story when it was first posted..and then in January...like almost everybody else in the world lol...i wanted to lose some weight this year. soo, I began counting calories and working out in January and lost 40lbs so far. woohooo!
...i have maybe like 20 more to go though. I'm still losing but veeeery slowly...it's always motivating when you hear other people's stories like this...sooo thaanks for posting it TClark!

TCLARK! You look beautiful darling! I love your story and the fact that Chris responded to you on this forum, he is an incredible, beautiful, wonderful, caring man. I don't think we will ever find anyone like him. I thank Deanna everyday for pushing him to try out for AI. She is truly an amazing woman and has given us so much by sharing her husband with us! They both have 100% of my love and respect! I got their backs for all time!

To everyone on this thread thanking me... it feels very c**ky for me to say "You're welcome", so I'm just gonna tell you how honored I feel for being a positive influence in any way. It's always so good to hear all the positive things! I would have to say that Deanna definitely deserves a big thanks.... from even me! She is an amazing woman who has the REAL job. That goes for all our wives who stay at home and take care of everything while we rock the free world. That aint a job!LOL

Congratulations on such an accomplishment! You are such an inspiration too so many people out there including me. I just recently started back working out and came across this post. You've given me the jump and drive with you eger determination. I have been unhappy with my body and weight and feeling down on myself and i see how you worked threw and conquered your goal and exceeded it with pride.
