This was a great show, like always! I had sooo much fun! Loved seeing the guys and Bon Jovi, the only thing that I hated was that we didnt get to see Chris sing with Bon Jovi but I still had a BLAST....cant wait for the next show.....Aug 9th, Indiana baby!!!

Since I was in the contest and my hubby was trying to get the crowd to applaud for me; we didn't get any pics??? First off, I have to say how disappointed I am that no one got the VIP. I can only dream to meet the guys one day. But this concert was so great that I can just consider myself a VIP anyway.
So here goes. My husband and I got to Nashville early on Thursday. We walked around downtown, and of course I had to go by to see if I could see anyone around the buses. No luck. We actually walked by a few times and nothing. So we just took in the sights for awhile and headed to the hotel a few blocks away to rest up. I checked the DO site before we left for the show and still no VIP. I was shocked because there have been VIPs for every other show on the tour. So we head out for the Sommet Center around 6:00. We get there and there are a lot of people hanging out in the front. There was a band giving a free pre-concert concert, and several radio stations were there too. It was a really cool atmosphere. We walked back down by where the buses were parked and still nothing. I guess I’ll NEVER meet the band. So we go in and walk around for a few minutes and then try to find our seats which are in the highest level. So we finally find them and they aren’t THAT bad. We were beside the stage and could see things pretty well. We were prepared with binoculars just in case. But we really didn’t NEED them because thankfully Daughtry was put up on the screens. The guys come out and I’m up screaming. No one around us was standing up at first. The arena was not filled up when they started, but at some point in the show I looked around and it looked full. So Chris was wearing a sleeveless shirt and I could see that tat of his that I adore so much!!! He came out in his cowboy hat like the one he auditioned for Idol in. The hat didn’t last long though. They of course started out with You Don’t Belong, and it was soooo great!! I couldn’t believe I was there after months of waiting!! Pretty soon the girls on our row were up cheering for them too. As their set went on, more and more people got into it. I just screamed and sang louder and louder. At one point, Chris breaks out “ol’ blue” and I just scream some more. I was hoping he would use that guitar. I wish I knew the set list. If someone has it, please send it to me or post it here. They started into Walk The Line and it was soooo good. They also did some of Nice Shot by Filter and it ROCKED!!!! I loved Chris’s copper megaphone. All of the songs were AWESOME!!! The guys were so into it. JP was all over the stage. Chris would go out on both catwalks and around the back of the stage. Steely and Brian were going nuts on their guitars. And Joey was so awesome on the drums and keyboards. Chris mentioned how hot it was and I totally agreed. It was so hot where we were. So the last song is coming up and I tell my husband that I hope it is All These Lives, but I doubted it. And then I say maybe it will be There And Back Again. I hear the first couple of notes of TABA and I go ballistic. I screamed SO loud that JP probably heard me from the upper deck. My husband told me later that when I screamed, everyone around us turned and looked at me. hehehe TABA was the BEST song of the set. I can’t believe that I can talk today after that! Toward the end of their set Chris says, this isn’t a one man show and introduced the guys. I loved that he said that because I hate it when people just talk about seeing Chris or say “him” or “he” and never mention the band or the rest of the guys. I screamed particularly loud when he introduced JP because he’s just my favorite. The guys left the stage and I was just on a high!! I was already missing them before Bon Jovi even came out. Bon Jovi was really good. They had the best stage set up that I’ve ever seen. The screens that moved around were SOOO cool!! And the back part of the floor of the stage that was also a screen was really cool too. We loved their older stuff and at one point they did a few newer songs in a row and we were almost bored. I was so anxiously waiting for Blaze. They finally started playing it, and I was up and had my camera ready. But the second verse comes and no Chris. I was more than disappointed. I was mad and sad too. I just slumped down in my seat and nearly cried. I just KNEW he was going to do Blaze with Jon. It was my fault for anticipating it so much. I know they haven’t done it at all of the shows. I didn’t let it ruin the rest of the show for me though. At one point Jon brings out Big and Rich to do a song with them! I’m not much of a country fan, but I like them. And then later he brings out LeAnn Rimes to do their duet. It was really cool. Michael and I were keeping our fingers crossed that the Sugar Land girl wouldn’t come out because we hate her twang!! She didn’t come out and we were ok. I really liked that they had a violinist. Do they always have her or was it just a Nashville thing? Richie did I’ll Be There For You while Jon secretly goes to a little platform on the side of the floor, about in the middle of the arena to do the next song. I can’t see how Jon has so much energy on stage. He talked about how much he loved Nashville, and told how they wrote I Love This Town there. I LOVED when they did Livin’ On a Prayer. The whole place was jumping. You can tell that Jon loves it when the crowd gets into it. They did Shout and EVERYBODY was up dancing. The last song they did was Wanted. It was more awesome than I can describe. It was sooo long and the entire arena was on their feet screaming and singing. The concert wasn’t over until around 11:00 and I wish it could have gone on all night, especially if Daughtry could have played longer! It was such an amazing night. I can’t come up with the right words to describe it. I can’t wait to see them again!!!! And maybe one day I might get to meet the band!! Sorry this is so long, but I still feel like I’m leaving so much out. I'll post some of my pictures when I figure out how to get them here. I always have trouble getting pic onto this site.

JUST got home from Nashville and I see that NO ONE CLAIMED the Nashville VIP! I am completely SICK to my stomach! Why NO time limit? WHY NOT pick others if no one responds. There are obviously PLENTY of us that were refreshing HOURLY the past 10 days!!
I am very grateful to have the opportunity, I just think it stinks! I have yet to meet the whole band 22 shows IN and I would LOVE the opportunity some day
I am just really really sad over this!
I know I dont ever have a chance, as I am the UNLUCKIEST person around but i just feel this opportunity was taken away from all of us.
The show itself was AMAZING, LOTS of energy!
I am beginning to think it really is hurting my chances for ever getting a VIP when I constantly post my review and my pictures. Maybe I need to stop

Was the best. I wished he was out there longer but I can't wait to see him again. I am sad that it is over. I loved it. The band rocks. Maybe one day I will get to meet them. They are the Best.

I'm too far away to attempt pics this time so I'm not bringing mine tomorrow night, but here's the Venue Policy:

Recording devices (audio/visual) are NOT allowed for events in the building....however, the use of STILL cameras is determined on an event by event basis.......
In other words, it's up to the bands....I say take your camera and go for it......I've had security get after me a couple of times because my camera was large (old camera) but once they examined it, they gave it back to me......I've gotten pics of a lifetime that I wouldn't otherwise have gotten if I hadn't gone for it......Good luck.....I'm sure you'll be fine.
