Ok, so I was way too much of a "typical fan"! I don't know what came over me! I saw Chris Daughtry standing right in front of me and I was SO HAPPY! Taking pictures acting like a crazy fool! After a weekend of sick kids, ect I didn't think I'd get there, but I did and I am so grateful. What a great show! Both opening bands were SO GOOD! We had a great time. I feel so lucky that I got to be there since I know the next tour will probably not be at such a intimate venue.
I wish I could have met Chris & shook his hand. I wanted to tell him how much I love his music. I love how he is a normal guy whose dream came true. I LOVE THAT!! Way to go guys, you really rocked the house.

I am writing to you as my cats lick the peanut butter off my shoulders. I have been watching American Idol for years now and every year I latch myself onto the current hot star so other idol fans will think I am cool. I am really hoping one of you sings a song that will inspire me to attend the gym. When I started watching American Idol I was a chubby 17 year old with no friends and no date to the prom. Years later I am older, maybe slightly heavier... here living with Mom. My neighbors and I all watch every episode... I even record the reruns! We idol fans have an American Idol night where all the neighbors come to the house and watch American Idol. You should really hear us hootin and hollerin!
I still remember the day they eliminted you. I went into a severe depression and thought about taking some extra tylenol, but I realized that maybe it would be better to keep breathing so I could keep supporting you in other ways Chris.
Believe me when I tell you Chris that American Idol is all I have in my life and without it, I don't have a life. So when I couldn't pay the extra $100 dollars scalpers or asking for your tickets it made me want to go to the medicine cabinet again. I refuse to pay scalpers to see you... I would rather complain on a message board then go out and get a job to pay for tickets.

Well Chris, I have organized an event with other Idol fans who did not get tickets.. We are going to protest from our couches because God forbid we get off the couch and get a job to pay for tickets.
I am so disappointed. You are coming to Indy to Birdy's and the tickets sold out within minutes of being released. I noticed on here that there were other fans that were disappointed as well in other cities. The tickets were only $20.00, but like others they are being sold on Ebay for $179.00 for 2 tickets. Scalpers are definately making some money, but it would be nice if they would allow for normal average people like me to attend events like this occasionally. I watched you all threw AE and was very irritated when you were let go, even though Katharine is one of my favorites also, it wasn't your time to go. I am so happy for you that you are doing so well for yourself. I don't know if you read these personally or not, but I hope you come back to Indy as I would love to see you and your band play.
I know there are tickets on Ebay for the Louisville show placed on there 2 days before they went on sale. I kept receiving an error message too when I went to purchase tickets at 10 am sharp this morning. I even called ticket express 1-866 number for ticketmaster and they didn't have any tickets available either. I just wish he would have went to a bigger venue, it would make it a lot harder for these thieving scalpers to steal your money from you.

Your show at Revolution Hall sold out in 7 minutes. The problem is that most ( i did not say all so those of you who got tickets, congrats) of the tickets were bought up by brokers, tickets.com and tickets-now and a couple others. They are selling the tickets for $80 to $100 a piece. It is not fair to your fans that this is happening at most venues. Will you be adding more shows and letting your fans buy tickets and some how lock out the scalpers/brokers. I will start a petition if that will help you get more shows added to your tour. Please tell me what can I do, I so badly wanted to see you preform in person. I followed you as most others did from day 1 of Idol... you should have won.... but your still the best.
Please tell us what can we do to see you live, or what can your record company do about the brokers that bought tickets before a lot of fans could... Thank you

I don't think it is right that the venues or tour people allow ticket brokers /scalpers etc to buy out tickets and then hike the prices up on us. I am very saddened by this... what is being done for future tours?

I can't believe the Raleigh venue sold out in a matter of seconds!! One second I was clicking on buy and the next it was sold out. Fact is, seeing Daughtry is a NEED, not a want. You and your damn sob stories about not being able to see the show when kids in other countries are not eating...
There are families in this country that have so little money they can't even afford shelter, medical insurance, etc...
And you want people to feel sorry that you won't go to this show? Please...
If you had the chance to, you'd buy a couple extra pairs and sell them on eBay yourself. You're just mad you didn't think of it.
Write all the petitions you want and keep crying about how the world is supposed to stop because you don't have the luxury of attending a concert...
Go ahead. Look at the people in poverty, a 48 year old man with Cancer who can't afford medication and tell that man he needs to feel bad for you because you can't see Daughtry...

Your show at Revolution Hall sold out in 7 minutes. The problem is that most ( i did not say all so those of you who got tickets, congrats) of the tickets were bought up by brokers, tickets.com and tickets-now and a couple others. They are selling the tickets for $80 to $100 a piece. It is not fair to your fans that this is happening at most venues. Will you be adding more shows and letting your fans buy tickets and some how lock out the scalpers/brokers. I will start a petition if that will help you get more shows added to your tour. Please tell me what can I do, I so badly wanted to see you preform in person. I followed you as most others did from day 1 of Idol... you should have won.... but your still the best.
Please tell us what can we do to see you live, or what can your record company do about the brokers that bought tickets before a lot of fans could... Thank you

I don't think it is right that the venues or tour people allow ticket brokers /scalpers etc to buy out tickets and then hike the prices up on us. I am very saddened by this... what is being done for future tours?

I can't believe the Raleigh venue sold out in a matter of seconds!! One second I was clicking on buy and the next it was sold out. I've called several independent music stores that were selling the tickets and they are sold out as well. HELP...anyone know where I can get tickets for a resonable price?

PLease come to the New Orleans Area! Lots of Chris Daughtry fans around here that would love to see you in concert and personally in person!(especially me and my 8 year old son). Just cause Katrina messed with us, doesnt mean we dont deserve to have Chris around here. It would make us feel alot better since most people around here lost everything from Katrina! Me and my son are truly big fans and would love to meet Chris and take some pictures with you, or even settle with a concert! VIP would be WONDERFUL!
