What Are You Nervous About This Weekend?
A local radio station does this every Friday so I thought I would try it on here! People call in to say what they are nervous about for the weekend and then follow up Monday to tell how it went. You might get some ideas of how to handle certain situations too from others on this site.

I think people don't take parenthood especially motherhood very seriously. Yes, children are a gift but sadly
some people look at them as disturbances. I think that one day I will adopt a baby who has been abandoned & give them love. Sometimes here in Africa you see mothers geting too many babies that they can't take care of them all. So sometimes the little ones are sent to the streets to beg & the older girls may be forced to prostitute themselves to earn money for the parents. It is very sad indeed 
On a lighter note you made me laugh Claudi, that without a helmet your son would not find the way out of the house

Parents...or specialy Mums who leave theyr kids alone. Who didn´t take care of them, let them hungry and thyrsty...dyrty and ill !!
What a world around this Mums...I don´t wanna call them so cause those are no Mums! Childs are holly things in every family and should be protected! If they must growen up with violence that must be a SHAME !!
This one makes me nervous...not only this week, it catches my soul everytime I hear about!!

its tension all the way but God is able to avert a disaster so my prayer is that he does so. So to all of you in the states & especially in the affected areas, peace, love and prayers.

is all the families who are part of the NO community and the surrounding areas who are being affected by the storms and hurricanes. It completely breaks my heart in half and I wish I had more power to make them feel at ease and not have their lives or homes be destroyed. They've been in my prayers and thoughts for the last few days and my prayers have been strong and I hope by some miracle of a chance they won't have to feel destruction. This is an important matter and that is what makes me nervous that NO is going to be hit hard again and they're going to lose everything. I can't imagine what they are going through nor can I think it'd be worse than Katrina ever was b/c itself was terrible. My heart goes out to all these people and even some close friends of mine and I won't stop thinking of you or praying for each of you.

You definately don't want me driving through Chicago!!!!!! As far as the GPS, it will keep us out of the high traffic areas as best it can, but I don't think there is any other way to get there unless we want to drive a REALLY REALLY long time!!!!!

I was driving home yesterday and noticed this faint red dot right on the tip of my nose and I was cursing under my breath that it better not be the beginning of a zit.....LOL, listen to us worrying about zits like we are a couple of teenagers. LOL. I am nervous for you driving through Chicago.

my mom did indeed explode but I had called my sis and asked her to talk to my mom in advance and tell her to chill out. short of it, the cleaning lady was not thrown out, the house is sparklin', my mom cooled off later and my dad is still recovering from her outburst.

this weekend but today. I'm kinda nervous that my mom will explode coz I called a cleaning lady to do the long overdue chores without consulting her (she's mega-uptight about such things). Right now I'm at work and I just hope mom won't throw the nice lady out when she shows up.
