updated "You Don't Belong"
So...I seen the "updated" version of the song..."You Don't Belong" on youtube...and I gotta say...I'm a lil dissapointed, it's still a very awesome song...but I noticed a couple new things to this updated version, 1. they added back up vocals shouting somethin like "go go go"...(probably not those exact words, but in that beat)...and honestly, it doesn't sound good with the song (IN MY OPINION)...2. Chris is singing the song "softer" then before...which totally just kills me...cause that song is meant to sound harder and in your face...like I said...still a great song...but just wish they wouldn't change it....and I realize sometimes bands will sing their songs differently from show to show...and nothin's guaranteed to be a certain way on the actual album....just sayin....I prefer the older way.

That is the great thing about music. You can change one simple note, word, or background music and it could change the whole song. It takes a strong person to say what they think and I'm sure the guys appreciate and at times take our opinions into consideration. For me, I love the megaphone.

I think the echoes will sound better on the album with all the studio stuff, and I kinda like it live. Youtube doesnt do it justice. I kinda like the one I shot at the Indiana State Fair on Aug 9th. It gives me a little more.. mmph! haha
Anywho, I somewhat agree on how he used to perform it 'harder'. Especially with those amazing mic stand moves!! I mean, where did they disappear to?! Probably to the same place as the megaphone.. into the unknown and forgotten =(

oh yeah...I'm fully aware that they like testing different ideas and stuff...and that's cool.....I'm just sayin...me personally, I don't care for that added background vocal, that's all....but we'll see....still gonna be a kick ass album
I NOTICED TOO, BUT I HAPPEN TO LOVE THE ADDED BACKGROUND VOCALS, AND WHEN THEY DO RECORD IT FOR THE 2ND ALBUM I AM SURE IT WILL BE A HARDER VERSION, I THINK THEY ARE JUST TESTING DIFFERENT VERSION OF THE SONG, TO SEE WHICH VERSION SOUNDS BETTER, DAUGHTRY ARE ALWAYS CREATING NEW THINGS WITH SONGS.
