Hey guys! Just wanted to spread the word that Oklahoma officially has a Joey Barnes Street Team! Come check it out and add it on MySpace... it's still being "spiffed up" but Joey can take all the love and support he can get, not to mention we need to spread the word about Joey so his album (coming out early 2009) becomes a HUGE success! It would be wonderful if Daughtry would play at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion when it reopens in 2009!! The pavilion is located in The Woodlands, TX (Houston metro) and was closed early this year due to damage sustained by hurricane Ike on Sept 12/13, 2008. Many concerts were cancelled because of Ike. We would LOVE to see Daughtry play here in early 2009 to help us celebrate overcoming the devestating effects of hurricane Ike. Help Daughry, we need some fun!!!!!

that was my first daughtry concert at addison, i drove there and stayed across from the fevistal i think it was the holliday inn. i had fun, and it was too bad you couldnt stay cause after daughtry lifehouse came on and chris did a duet with them on the song "hangin by the moment" it was awesome, daughtry rocked!!!! my second daughtry concert was at the ford center in okc daughtry was there with bon jovi and it was unbelievable!!!!!!! so yea, i am willing to drive to texas to see them again in 2009!!!!!
I was plannin' on goin' but the gurl I was going to go with, unfortunately, had to bail on me! Pathetically, it would have been my very first concert to go by myself and I was too chicken to go alone.
So when they were at the Taste of Addison, near Dallas, I booked a hotel room, kid~napped my sister, lol, and headed that way over Mother's Day Weekend. Needless to say, our families weren't real happy about it, but they understood!
Being the goof ball that I am, I was so excited that I forgot my camera and camcorder in the hotel room! So no pics or vid! We were pretty close to the stage, which means we were packed like sardines, but I didn't care, I loved every minute of it! Except for the fact that JP wasn't there!
My sister loved the concert too, but she's clostraphobic and as soon as they left the stage we had to leave cause she started having a panic attack!
It was the best concert I've ever been to and I can't wait to go again! But it's been kinda too hard to go so far, when ya got little munchkins that are dying to go also, but can't because of school or something else comes up!
I see you are able to travel! Do you have any kiddos? I'm planning on making any necessary arrangements I have to in order to go this next time around!!!

I second that! Texas needs Daughtry; we got LOTS of cities and I'll go to every one... they've only been here one: Feb 2007 at the Meridian in Houston - tiny venue standing room only! Were you there? that was my first D concert.
