Daughtry Guitarist: 'Minnesota Rules'

LOL...It's a good piece, except they have Brian quoted as saying "Minnesota Rules" But when I watched the clip, it's our man Steely being adorable. Smiling They credited Craddock later in the story and it was Steely...again. I emailed them with the corrections...LOL

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― In town to perform at a concert at The Depot, Chris Daughtry says the band has really enjoyed spending time in Minnesota.

"This part of the country is really good to us, we've noticed. Our fans are super-polite," said Daughtry.

"Minnesota rules," added guitarist Brian Craddock.

So do Chris Daughtry and his bandmates after their meteoric rise to the top of the charts. Daughtry has come a long way fast since he got national attention on American Idol.

"Like a whirling dervish. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm sure it's just like one," said Daughtry.

Critics compare Daughtry's sound to classic rock bands of the past, and credit it for reviving the genre.

"It's definitely flattering," said Daughtry. "We're just emulating our idols."

"To us it never really left, 'cause that's the music we listened to. We're rockers," added Craddock.

Wednesday night, they were in Minneapolis to perform on behalf of the one campaign:

"To raise awareness for world poverty," explained Daughtry.

Three members of the band recently traveled to Africa.

"You can see the difference being made right in front of your eyes, so it's a powerful thing to do," said drummer Joey Barnes.

After reading the article, all I could think was: " How could anyone be anything else but polite to Daughtry?" Here is a band that has such a big heart and is rather polite themselves.

"Love What You Do!"

I noticed that too! Way to go - setting them straight! I think is awesome that Chris said "This part of the country is really good to us, we've noticed. Our fans are super-polite," It's cool that he likes this part of the country! That must mean he had a good time in WI last weekend! I know I had a good time!
