DAUGHTRY DROUGHT
While we are in a Daughtry Drought, the guys are still hard at work. Working on a new album and spending some much needed time with their families. Tell them how much they deserve it here!

How is everyone?
How am I you ask? Well, I have certainly seen better days, however, I have seen worse as well. I am no longer working and have been pretty upset about it all week. I am perking up a little. Trying to look on the bright side of things...
We are getting your left over snow D and C.. It's coming down pretty hard and has been all day. Amy and I went shopping on Friday. Got EVERY bit of my shopping done. It feels so good! Knowing I have no more to do is such a great feeling. The kids got most of everything they asked for.
Debbie, that's funny you guys caved with the Wii. I wanted to buy one for my family, but considering the circumstances, I will wait awhile. I did hear that they have them at a local pawn shop, I thought about checking that out. I bought Austen a MP3 player, he is going to LOVE it! Carmen got her Peek A Boo barbies, and they both got Webkins.
Well, I will run for now. Hope to come around more soon... Hope all of you are great! Take care and I will talk to you soon.

Awesome on Oprah! Can't wait for the '09 tour! Did you hear... another Daughtry boy will be on the way... Some have said that JP is also having a boy... I haven't personally read that yet.. Yay!!!

They do deserve to be able to take time out and spend it with their families....
Although we miss them we know that before you know it the craziness will start again and we will be flying to shows or driving whatever gets us to DAUGHTRY faster! LOL
I have spent some of my time watching youtube of the shows I have been to it helps a little and the latest appearances well those were awesome! I am ready for the 09 tour though it will be amazing!!!!

We have sprinkles in the forecast for tomorrow to help with the drought. Oprah and it looks like the extended forecast calls for a little drizzle on November 19th, on CSI: NY. So I'm looking forward to that to. Then there's always the awards shows that they have to attend. Or at the very least be on satellite. But I am looking forward the this drought being over and a really good downpour of new CD and new tour.
Ok enough with analogies, I miss these guys but I hope they are enjoying their time with the families. They deserve it.

did your 47 year-old Dad listen? Tell him that I was at the original GMA when the cd dropped , have been to four concerts, listened to countless cell calls from concerts and loved every second - and I am 66! Of course, I have loved rock all my life - grew up on Joplin & Hendrixx. I have been fortunate enough to meet the band twice and they are such nice young men.
Chris, Josh, Josh Paul, Joey & Brian .......... you've been working hard on the cd, which I am thrilled about, but I really hope that you have had a lot of good old-fashioned down time with your beautiful families after almost two years on the road.
That doesn't stop me from being excited about seeing you tomorrow however

Well, it's really late, but everyone JUST went to bed and I am to wound up to sleep! Joe and I just spent about 4 hrs at the emergency room with Carmen. She was with my sister's boyfriend driving to Michigan City (which we didn't know about) and it's like 1 hr away, and they hit a deer! Bad enough to total the car and kill the deer! With my 3 yr old in the back... I was a MESS! My sister called and the first thing out of her mouth was, "Wendy, don't freak out", you know any converstation that starts that way isn't going to be good. So, she told me what happend and of course, I freaked out. We drove to get Carmen, which when Adam hit the deer, they were in Rolling Prairie, which is only like 35 minutes or so, at least with Joe's driving tonight. After talking to the Dr. on call, he said take her to the ER. We got there around 8 and didnt leave until 12 or so! Thank God, she is ok.. I have to watch of course for any changes, including loose teeth and blood in her stool or urine (exciting I know)..

I miss these guys like CRAZY!!!! but they do deserve some time to spend w/their families.....and I cant wait for the new album!!!
And I know they need time for that as well.....it just makes me sad that I wont see them until sometime next year 
wished it could be sooner!!! But it will be WELL worth it when the time comes! and I cant wait to see all my DAUGHTRY girls either!

Chrissy, alot of my friends are the same way. Well I have to say they like Daughtry but not as much as me. It was so hard to convince them to go to Harleyfest and I still couldn't. Maybe because they saw them already once???But I tried to tell them that each show is a different experience and how can you NOT want to go see them over and over??? I'm sure when the next cd is out, then they'll want to go again. But anyways, what do they know? LOL - More Daughtry for all of us to share.

people don't know who they are. Just the other day, I was convincing my 47 yr old dad to listen to them.
And, I find myself telling people when they are on the radio, "This is THEM!!"

I've been majorly deprived of Daughtry this year. Just one show for me. That's right, I've just seen em once this year compared to 5 last year which still isn't really enough. I know the new album is gonna be sooo worth the wait. The wait is just DRIVIN ME CRAZY! lol.
but believe it or not, some people I know haven't even heard of them! Yep, I guess they live under a rock. Of those who do know them, they like them, but not to the extent we do, and I can't understand why. Because they are that amazing!!!

None of my friends are big Daughtry Fans. They're like alot of people, they like Chris and they think he's hot and OMG he was on AI (so old) and don't care about the other guys. I definately can't talk to my husband because he hate's the fact that I'm such a big fan. So, that's why I come here!

Hopefully ill be able to meet some DO girls on the next tour. Its so hard cuz i have some friends that like daughtry & may know a song or two, but i need someone on my level! Obsessed and could listen/talk about the guys 24/7. I think my girls would just rather me shut up. lol Daughtry so amazing i hope i get to meet them one day.

I've got a few stories from just the past month and a half, thanks to my fellow DO girls! If you get the chance to meet them, take it! They're amazing. I was actually pleasantly suprised by Brian at the 9/11 show and you know I'm a JP girl
I do have to say though, the VIP's need a little organization but overall a very cool experience.

I can't wait! I am going to go to as many as I possibly can.... My hubby says as long as I want to do the drive, he doesn't care. And, now I have a GPS, so I have every concert at my fingertips.. LOL!
