Of course we all know that DAUGHTRY is amazing in concert but its nice to see others starting to see all the talent these GUYS have! Hope you guys enjoy nice read even if you have seen it before... Take a look at the bottom a little something for the fans....
)
Maybe it was that he motivated the crowd to mosh, or that he jumped up onto the drummer's stage to bang the cymbals, or that he threw sweaty rags into the crowd, but Daughtry seemed completely authentic Wednesday night at the Allentown Fair.
Right. '' American Idol'' finalist Chris Daughtry's band, Daughtry, authentic. Of course, as Chris pointed out, it isn't all about him (and no doubt he's tired of the ''Idol'' fact aaaalways being mentioned).
The five-member Daughtry band is (most of the time) four guitarists and a drummer, and they're more rock stars first, a popular mainstream band second. And they treated a rowdy crowd of 8,420 -- not far from sold-out -- to a high-energy performance in which each performer seemed genuinely excited to be on stage.
The 13-song, 75-minute concert touched on all the band's hits, opening with ''You Don't Belong'' and ''What I Want'' and closing with ''Feels Like Tonight'' and ''Home.'' An original song, the soft-tempoed ''Long Way,'' prompted Chris to promise: ''One day we're gonna come up with a new album'' (insert ecstatic crowd applause) ''and maybe this will be on it.''
The one lowlight came during ''Helter Skelter,'' when opening act Day of Fire singer Josh Brown joined Chris on a cover of the Beatles tune. Maybe it was the venue's acoustics -- which aren't always spectacular -- but it was tough to hear Brown. That was something Brown seemed to notice, judging from the shrill sound his voice made as he strained to be heard.
Daughtry is big into social causes, something he brought up before the slow-tempoed, ''What About Now.''
''We've noticed on our Web site a lot of you have taken action  and we think it's pretty awesome,'' he said.
Then it was on to the hit ''It's Not Over'' and the audience exploded.
There was little to complain about at the grandstand Wednesday night. A cool breeze made the comfortable night the perfect place to dance passionately if you wanted to, or just listen to some really good music.

I know we get tired of hearing that because we (KNOW) Chris has far surpassed those days! So we cannot let that get to us... I am just happy that is a nice article... ;o)
But I am thankful to what is the name of that show? LOL

I was there last night and it was such a great show. These guys know how to perform. I also met them and they are so nice and genuine. I had a great night and am so glad that I went to see these talented guys do what they do best!
I agree with the AI title. I hope he can break free from that and just be rocker Chris Daughtry from the band Daughtry. Stop with the Idol label already. He's more than proved himself in this business.

** I have a serious case of OCD~ Obsessed w/ Chris Daughtry**
Thanks for posting it Lisa
Every article lately starts out " Former "American Idol" contestant Chris Daughtry".... Come on that was so yesterday and they have so moved on from that so I can see why he is ready to lose that title....
