2nd Annual Daughtry ONE Birthday Donation Project
Lady Val, Jill_C, and I have the honor and are so excited to begin the ONE Daughtry Project again this year. In honor of Chris’ Dec. 26th birthday, we ask you to donate to ONE.
The What About Now video has been a god-send to so many. What a poignant picture it paints of global poverty. But it doesn’t stop there. It proceeds to encourage us that we can be the difference. Wherever I have shown it, it has brought tears to people’s eyes - to groups of adults in schools, who in turn showed it to groups of students. The WAN video touches hearts and provokes thought in a way few others have.
Chris and Daughtry have done so much for us and for the world. They have unselfishly given of themselves - their time, their money, and their hearts. They have changed our Daughtry-Lifer lives.
Now it is time to give back, to say thank you to Chris and, at the same time, give to those whom Chris cares so much about….those in dire need.
Last year our project raised over $2000. This year our goal is $10,000. Yes, a 10 and three zeroes. We believe if we start now, we can do this – for Chris and for those enduring the ravages of global poverty.
After making your donation, PM me the amount and the Reference Number and/or Authorization Code in your confirmation email from ONE. It will not be shared with anyone. We will then send a birthday card to Chris with only the total amount and each donor’s name and/or screen name. Please indicate which you prefer. The last day for donations will be Dec.19.

My donation was a little drop in the bucket....but drops become a gallons soon! We have an opportunity to be a part of something great, what a worthy cause, what a worthy band! I'm proud of DAUGHTRY for taking a stand and supporting this movement to change the world.
We have much to be thankful for. With stores on every corner, and accessible medical care, its hard to think that all countries aren't just like us.

Our total today is $2,953.04 donated by 74 people who love Chris Daughtry!! So close to $3000 which would be 30% of our goal.

As we are coming out of the holiday where we give thanks for all our blessings, We are entering the holidays where we celebrate sacrificial birth and unselfish giving, the holiday season in which we enjoy giving to our loved ones. During this time of giving of ourselves, let us purpose to give to those who are most in need. Determine to give to those living in poverty and to the organization committed to ending their suffering and to enabling them to live lives that we take for granted.
We have given $2,712.67. We have about 3 weeks to make our goal of $10,000. Let's do this for Chris.

a reminder to make my November donation to ONE.....only a month left to make our donations in honor of Chris's birthday.
I hope we make our goal for this wonderful cause...even if we don't, I know every penny given will be much appreaciated by those in need.
I missed making my donation last month only because I didn't take the time to do so.....I would think ,oh....I need to go make my ONE donation, then I would get busy and forget. October seem to fly by....and now it's the last day of November and here I am waiting until the last minute. Sometimes it's just a matter of taking the time to make a donation ......for those of you, like me.
We have so much in this country to be grateful for.......

Wow what a thought Pat -- 800 people here giving $10. Unfortunately none of them thought of that.
We have surpassed last year's total. As of yesterday 59 people have donated for a total of $2,442.67.
Let' s do this. we can reach our $10,000 goal!! We have 4 weeks to go. Think how happy this will make Chris, and won't you love knowing he will be reading your name on his birthday card .

Come on everyone - 55 fans is great but we can do so much better. I know times are hard but just imagine if the guys were touring - we'd find the money. This is so much more important. We have to get that amount up there and we have only a short time to do it.
I donated about a week and a half ago, it only took a few minutes. We can do this!
