What else can I say I about this concert? I've raved about it to my friends, family, officemates, everyone! Out of all the concerts I've seen in the past year, this has got to be the most intense, most intimate, and most rockin' one! Everyone in the crowd felt the power and intensity of it all and I must say, a week after the concert, I'm still feeling the adrenalin rush!

The concert started an hour late than what was promoted/published, and clearly everyone was getting anxious to see the band... It was a cool night here in rainy Manila, but when the band came out, my friend and I literally felt the temperature rise! No kidding! We were so pumped up to the last song and beyond!

Definitely worth the wait and the ticket price. Wish to see them again real soon.

What a night!!! It has almost been a week and I'm still rocking out to Daughtry songs in my car! Even after the concert, I dropped my friend off to her place and I continued rocking out in my car on the way home! This really recharged me and I was in a good mood at work the rest of the week.

Daughtry and Chris are the real thing. The music is great! The crowd was great, and we sang quite well I might add! Haha!

I really really do hope they come back! Keep on rocking guys!

Delight in Daughtry: July 29, 2008 (Eastwood City, Libis, Manila, Philippines)

It should be a dream come true for every fan to have been able to meet a band as talented, as humble and as down to earth as Daughtry. Even for a brief period of time, being able to say hi, shake their hands, and take a photo with them is something a fan will treasure forever. This is exactly how I felt after July 29, 2008, on my way home from the Daughtry concert. Up to this date, it still give me chills whenever I remember the happenings of that day, from the moment we met them, up to the last note Chris sang. I'm pretty sure everyone who experienced the same understands me.. especially since it's not everyday that these kinds of things happen in the Philippines.

Thank you Odyssey for giving me this wonderful experience I'll forever treasure in my heart!

OMG! That was the best concert I’ve been to!

I am still reeling with excitement after my meet and greet experience with the guys. It was brief, yeah, but all worth it. Joey Barnes was the one who first greeted me then the rest of the guys followed. After the photo-op, I approached Chris and extended my right hand. It was nice to shook his hand. But it would be nicer if I had the chance to hug him even, haha!

The concert was amazing. Pretty jam-packed! It’s better when the venue is small, there’s no possibility of a stampede or any untoward incident.

The guys are all amazing. Chris never seemed to run out of energy as he sang consecutively while his bandmates rested backstage. Really, really loved all his performances, especially What About Now? and Feels Like Tonight.

Hope you come back again for the next album. I’ll definitely be there!!!

the concert rocked big time! i really hope they come back soon and maybe even hold the concert in a bigger place. but who's complaining from last night? the crowd was just as amazing as the band which made every second monumental

Seriously though, every moment of the show was amazing... and he sang Used To... I didn't think he was going to sing that.. And OMG, What About Now... my fave... love love LOVED it! I had a BLAST night, wheeeww!!....a 75-minute of rockin' vocals.... definitely worth the wait these guys are the best and go above and beyond to please the audience.
They had a really refreshing sound and luckily, I met them before the start of the show. They put so much energy and passion last night. My fave. performance was OVER YOU, it made me feel so good. And without a question, DAUGHTRY definitely rocked D' entire Eastwood City

I'm really grateful to my cousins that I got to watch this concert.
I may not have been a huge fan before, but I assure you I've been converted. (yeah!)

fantastic production! the sounds, the lights, the talent on stage of course.
(chris' vocal quality was superb. heck, the whole band was totally rockin' it out!)

four stars only because it was too too short.
(an hour and a half! we're craving for more DAUGHTRY!)
and we didn't get to meet the band.
but hey! at least we got a picture with mr jones-soundman guy! haha, he was awesome too!

it was fun night! a great break from my sad academic life. thanks guys!
come back to the Philippines as soon as you can! (and meet us next time! XD)

If you want to see Daughtry, in the flesh before everybody else, go to Eastwood City at 7pm on Monday July 28 (a day before the actual concert). He will be making a special appearance to all his fans, right before his press conference with the local Philippine media. The first 100 people to show up get a free autograph pass, for the next day. And Eastwood City is giving away backstage passes to a few lucky participants. So head on over to Eastwood City on Monday. The excitement is just about to get started. I'm also a big fan of Daughtry eversince I first saw him on AI. When I heard the news that they will have a concert here in the Philippines, I got really excited. I really really want to see them play. I'm a musician too and I love their music. All i ever wanted is to see them live because who knows,this may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to see my idol. Days gone by and every night, all I can think of is this concert. Too bad for me, I'm hust a 4th year highschool student and I cant afford to buy a ticket for this concert.. =( I got really sad. I dont know if I'll ever have a chance to see them in concert. But all i know is I'm dying to see them. Anyways, today is my birthday, (July 20) and all I wish now is for my idol Chris Daughtry to be able to read my message for him.
